Tandoori starters

Chaat and street snacks
Chaat is a category of savoury street snacks that mix crunchy, soft, tangy and spicy elements in one bite. Golgappa is a well-known example, and it's on our menu. These snacks are light, lively and perfect for waking up your appetite.
Crispy fried starters
Fried starters, such as pakora-style fritters, are crisp outside and soft inside. They're great with a tangy chutney and a cold drink, and they're easy to share. Ask your server which fried items are on offer.
Choose a balance
For a table of four, a mix of one tandoori starter, one chaat-style snack and one fried item gives you a nice range of textures. Then you can move on to curries, breads and rice.
Don't fill up too early
It's easy to over-order starters. Take it slowly so you still have room for the main course, especially if you're coming for the buffet. Our lunch buffet is $20.50 per adult and our dinner buffet is $23.50 per adult.

We offer plenty of vegetarian options and can accommodate vegan and gluten-free requests. Many starters can be adjusted, so tell your server about your needs when you order.
